Works great with "normal" websites. Tried to download some documents from a QuickPlace (Lotus Notes) site as an archiving experiment but didn't succeed. Comes up with the password request but fails to download. Mario

This is superb. I am about to go with my 80-year-old father to Northern France and Belgium to where my grandfather (his father) served during the 1914-18 War. Since 3G broadband is still stupidly expensive for UK users abroad, I was expecting to have an internet 'blackout'. Thanks to PageNest, we can take various key websites with us ... and it is SO easy to use - sincere thanks !!!

This program is great for multiple uses. I am using it to make sure I always have a website that I am worried might not be there in a few months.

PageNest Free: very good, still needs tweaks I tried several "download the entire site" programs recently, and PageNest Free was one of the easiest to use, and had a very clear and easy to understand interface. The one problem that prevented it from being my number one choice tool in this category was that I couldn't figure out how to stop it from downloading files from other domains. Best free choice I have found so far but: Program is not stable, crashed on me several times. Even though I tell it not to relink anything it insists on altering code. My purpose for this type of tool is to download potential clients existing sites and make changes to it as offerings to them. I need folder structure and code to be exactly as it is in site with no changes. My revamped code needs to fit in their existing folder structures with no cliches. But unfortunately it did not help me too much because I am trying to use it to download entire websites with it's all links content which are pictures(photos) but your program download only the first page and what I got only the small images which are very small and iam looking for the large pictures from the gallery website. And I want to get what I am in need of while I am online in my workplace so that I can surf them offline while I am home.

Quite complex to get it up and running on account of need to set up proxy server connection. Although they use a procedural approach which includes testing, navigating the web documentation becomes confusing and one can easily lose track of where one is in the sequence. After all that time going round in circles my PC has not for some reason passed the tests for the proxy server connection and as a result I have lost my enthusiasm.

Never mind laptops - what about games? I started looking for precisely this sort of program because the "Hardware Profiles" just control services, not apps like virus checkers, distributed computing clients, internet radio etc.When playing games I want as little extraneous stuff running as possible, and ProfileLink deals with the problem admirably.

ProfileLink I started looking for a program to do exactly what ProfileLink does after finding that the "Hardware Profiles" feature of XP doesn't control what applications (as opposed to services) are loaded at Startup. ProfileLink seems to sort this problem out extremely well.Although it is designed with laptops in mind, another potential use is to create a lean profile for gaming. All I want running for games is a windows key blocker and Steam - certainly NOT a virus check!

ProfileLink is really handy I really appreciate ProfileLink. It's simple but powerful. It gives you the ability to change your registry entries, startup items, printers, etc automatically based on the hardware profile you select. It is unfortunate that Vista no longer supports hardware profiles.

Hi, I downloaded Portable Offline Browser and have been impressed at what it can. It's great that it can be installed on a removable storage device, now I can have useful information with me everywhere I go. The only thing I would recommend in regards to improvements are User Interface improvements, I have used offline browsers that must be installed locally and although this is not as convenient some of them had a more user friendly UI. Thanks for the great product.
